June in Bloom

The Ranunculus and Anemones are done for the season and the summer blooms are almost here. I am looking forward to my SnoCo FloCo market date at the end of the month. In the garden now Honeywort, Feverfew and Cress are putting on a show. The Dahlias are coming up strong and all but a few tubers are above the ground. I planted a little over 100 tubers and 20 seedlings at my parent’s farm in Idaho. I am so excited to be growing out my dahlia tuber stock so I am keeping the momentum of growth even before I have the space in my own garden.

I am looking forward to spending some more time in the pottery studio this summer and working on some new shapes and sizes. I completed my first commission order this spring and would love to tackle another one at some point. If you are interested, please reach out!

I hope you take a few minutes to appreciate the blooms of summer and find ways to support your local flower farmers.

Late season Butterfly Ranunculus and Dill make a stunning combo.

First year growing Honeywort and I am in love with the lush green and moody purple combo.

Feverfew is starting to bloom! This is a second year plant and I am loving the stem length.

First year growing Cress Attraxa. I am hoping it does well at the market this year.

Bunny Tails will be a forever grow for me. I am so in love with them fresh or dried!
